Jesus the new Isaac
Matthew 4:17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Sacrifice occurred on same mountain: at Mount Moriah (Gen 22:2) site of the Temple in Jerusalem (2 Chr 3:1); at Calvary / Golgotha (Mk 15:22) outside Jerusalem's city gates (Heb 13:11-12)
Carried the wood for the sacrifice: laid on Isaac by Abraham (Gen 22:6); Jesus his own cross (Mt 27:32)
