Dwelling place of God with his people

God the Father in the tabernacle (Ex 40:34; 1 Kg 8:10-11)

Jesus, the Word, tabernacled among us (Jn 1:14)

 

the Holy Spirit in the baptised (Acts 2:4,38), who are the temple of the living God (2 Cor 6:16)

God the Father veiled and unveiled

as the Glory Cloud in the Most Holy Place of the tabernacle (Ex 40:34-35) behind a veil (Ex 40:21)

as revealed by Jesus (Jn 14:6-9) and at his death when the temple veil / his flesh was torn (Mt 27:50-51; Heb 10:20)

The Son as the visible presence of God
