Water brings new birth (salvific)

drawn out of the water and given a new life by Pharaoh's daughter (Ex 2:3-10)

being born again in water and the Spirit to enter the kingdom of God (Jn 3:5), becoming a child of God (1 Jn 3:1) and a partaker of his divine nature (2 Pet 1:4)

with faith, baptism saves (Mk 16:16, Tit 3:5 & 1 Pet 3:21)

For infants

saved (Ex 2:3-10)

based on the faith of parents (Acts 2:38-39)
